Have you ever wondered about the relationship of a pair of shoes with their partner? I know I didn't, until the chance presented itself. The collaboration between myself, Lukas Zapolskas, Paula Brečak and Josie Gidman, bore unexpected fruit, as we were quite vividly capture a concerto performed by the shoes of the aforementioned Josie.
Although everything from filming to editing and music choice was done within the hour, what came out is a robust piece, dispelling the notion of shoes as inanimate objects, whose sole existence is to be worn and walked around in. No, therein we display their fascinating inner lives, their dreams and aspirations, and, naturally, talents.
